No power...
Just dropped a rebuilt 350 into my 85 Trans Am, everythin ready to go but I am not getting any power anywhere. The battery is good, the engine and upper/lower frame ground out. But nothing inside the car grounds (inside light). the starter wont even crank over and I'm stumped. Lol.

Just a few reminders. Check the fuses. You've got to have power if the key is on and the fuses are good and it is wired right. Just food for thought.

There is a RED wire that comes from the starter or the battery that goes to your fuse box. If this was left off you would have no power. Depending how the car is wired it may come from the altenator.Charlie

Ah yes, thank you very much thats what I was... I had that lead on the wrong spot on the starter.
thanks guys.
on small cars yes. but fat fender cars are pretty much the same in size and weight as the donor car. i found s10 brakes work great on fat fender and pickups. a deuce will just need manual brakes...
Time for brakes
