XIs a spring mount, but I have solved the problem, I just made one. The trick on re sizing worked great.

I have cut off the spring perches to make them fit to the new springs, any advice on setting the pinion angle?

With leaf springs, the usual method of changing the pinion angle is to put tapered shims between the spring and the spring pad on the axle. Measure first. You may not have to change anything.

"The usual method...." I had to cut the spring perches off to bring them in one inch each side. I now have it all together with the ubolts not quite tight, but snug and I need to get the pinion angle as close as I can so I can weld them back on.

The only method I have seen is to use an angle finder on dampener pully on the crankshaft then transfer it to the front of the yoke on the pinion. Then rotate the rear end till it is at the same angle as the dampener pully.Then weld.

Does this sound right?
At what point in the suspension travel should it be done at, ride height? Jacked up, suspension unloaded?

The rear end is in, and all that is left is fabing the top shock mounts and I can go test it.

I hope, I hope, I hope the pinion angle is correct. I never did that before.
