I'm going to be rewiring my 50 Willys and have narrowed it down to Francis or EZ Wiring... While price is a factor , those of you that have used either or both... did you have many problems with them... I would rate good tech spport near the top in case of problems... guys what say you?

I used ez-wire, have had no problems yet
I have used both. If money is the consideration, EZ Wire is fine. Francis is top rate and easiest for me to do a first class job with, but Ez works just fine.
I have Ron Francis wiring in my roadster, top shelf stuff and their customer service is too. I would recommend them.
I have a Francis set up in my 48 Ford, did it 20 plus years ago and NEVER had any problems with it.
Both are great equipment with good reputations - but a consideration to many is that the modules are prewired and might be a hassle for some applications to start at one end and snake thru to the other. Might want to take a look at American Autowire (and others) as well - their wires are not preteminated at the module.**)
So if I understand you, you start at the end, say the taillight, and string the wire back to the fuse panel?

On the EZ wire you have to start at the panel, I would start there on Ron Francis also.
We use American Autowire for our builds.The ez-wire and painless use a bulk head connector.AAW and Ron francis use a modular design.They are much easier to work with.The AAW kits come with headlight switch,dimmer,and ignition switch in there kits.The best thing about them is they are upgradable.
For instance say your build and budget you would like to have A/C and power windows but you just can't swing them right now.With the AAW kits you will get all the wiring you need to do this but it wont have to be installed until your ready.With the other bulk head kits you have to do something with all those lose wires hanging around.The AAW kits are plug and play.So to speak.
