I have a chance to pickup an 8.8 rear axle for cheap. But, it has 4:10 gears in it. Is this a driveable gear ratio when using a chevy 350 automatic behind a 383 stroker? Its not gonna be an everyday driver, but I would like to hit the highway occasionally for some rod runs and Sunday drives. Is this doable without going to an overdrive? Also, Im going to be running 33" tires (M/T 33x19.50x15) actually proly only 32" tall.
