i installed the "cadillac" rear disk calipers that have the built-in e-brake. i completed the setup with a lokar handle.

the problem is that the e-brake doesn't work too well even all the way up. when i installed the cables, all i did was make sure they were "hand tight" as far as resistance against the spring. also, the rear brakes don't seem to be performing well. they have enough pressure to keep the rust off the discs, but they aren't near as shiny as the fronts.

are these two issues part of the same problem? do i not have enough tension in my e-brake cable at rest? how do you know how much you need?

seems like when i decided to get them a couple years ago, i read where you had to have the e-brake set right for the discs to work properly.

anyone have any experience with them?
