turbo charging
i am taking out the 390 out of my f250 and putting in a 330xd ft motor and allison at540 trans back in i am not going to rebuild my 390 because it is going to cost 2000.00 i think 2000.00 is to much money for 255 hp and 372 ft lbs of torque anyway i want to put on twin turbos for more power i do a lot of heavy towing and hauling the 330xd makes 185 hp at 4000 the torque is 300 ft at 2000 rpm the comp ratio is 7.6 i do a lot of heavy towing and hauling and i only paid 100.00 for the running b600 bus i know turbos are exspensive but i dont have much of a choice i have a 460 out of a 78 lincon but to put the 460 in my truck it is going to cost 1800.00 for the parts bellhouseing motor mounts having the block modiefied for the clutch ball any help would be great
I saw last night on fb about John. The world sure lost a great one. I'm going to miss his humor, advice, and perspective from another portion of the world. Rest in Peace Johnboy.
