upgrade my IFS?? 1951 sedan delivery...
I pulled the 350 out of my SD and it is being rebuilt....
The brakes are dead.... the master cylindar was left open....
So... I've never driven it....
I've seen replacement "bolt-in" mustang II suspension for it, but is the orginal IFS really that bad for cruiser??Allengator

Back in the day they were never a problem. Pinto or Mustange II really isn't
all that heavey duty either.

I don't think that the M11 system will be a "bolt in"................maybe , if it's a kit...............
Another approach is a clip from a Camaro, Nova, Malibu etc......
Another way may be a whole frame swap from an S10.

the bolt-in is a kit.....
but my question really isnt "which upgrade", my question is "Is an upgrade really necessary?"Allengator

If you're keeping it as a cruiser, I'd just replace the bushings and check the tie-rod ends and ball joints. Replacement springs might be worthwhile if yours are worn out.Jack
