Through frame brake fittings
What is the consensus regarding through frame fittings? Seems like I recall some disccussions in the past regarding problems but I can't recall if that was just a certain type, or the design in general.
FYI I'm planning on plain steel brake lines, not stainless.
Thanks,
Randy

Hey Randy,
I'm new around here and just checkin' the site out.
So I'll throw in my two cents awhile. I kind of like things basic. The less fittings in the brake system the better is my thought. Nice frame tabs are fine with me. Rubber brake hoses ,drum brakes and silicone fliud work for me. Yep the pedal feels different but, it stops good.
Have fun,Smokey

I use the one's that Heidt's sells, never have had a problem with them. They do clean up the frame area around the wheels.Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!
