yup, installed a number of them with excellent results. Very streetable. This would also be a good time to check all the bearings in the rear end, and replace the ring and pinion if you are considering it. Just follow the directions carefully when installing the posi unit.
i spoke with jammie from auburn gear and he sold me on a auburn pro posi unit and moser 28 spline axles, what da ya think dave ,is this the right move ,i didnt right the check yet
The Auburn is a good unit, too. If you're putting a bunch of power to it, might also be a good time to upgrade to 31 spline axles and posi... For normal street use and abuse the 28 spline is good, the 31 spline is better. On our all out drag cars we run the 35 or 40 spline units, big blocks with big slicks and a ton of torque.
