what are you working on? might be the socket that looks like a big screw driver, that you adj. the spring tension on the pitman arm ball, on older cars. :confused:
"back in the day" every tool set you bought came with that big screw driver socket and I bet 1/2 the people that had one didn`t know what is was for.Was there ever any other uses for it ?? Just curiousQuote:

there was one for the car, a bigger one for the 1-1/2 ton truck. i think most folks used something else to turn it with anyway. it was a lot of them ridding down the road loose, and nobody stoped to check then. 1/2 turn of slack in the steering wheel was okey back then. :CRY:**)Quote:
