Howdy,
like I said yesterday, I agree with you guys and the 18" are coming off. When I bought the car, the dude threw these in with the deal and I've had them on/off now on again. I'm an OF also. didn't really care for the bling bling of the big wheels but, after just discoverering the show Overhauling about a month ago I thought, why not put them back on and see. Seems like all of the classic muscle cars redone by Foose on the show, they always put 18"-20" wheels on those classics. Why is that? I mean, I've seen some of his creations selling for multi bucks (no kids buying those things) and they all have those huge wheels on them. I would venture to say that tires and wheels are one of the most simple things to change?? SO, I guess I was trying to change my mind to adjust to the latest craze and all I had to do was write a couple of posts here to confirm that there's nothing wrong with what I was used to seeing back in the 60's & 70's. Regards,
Wyatt
