I have a 1956 Pontiac and it's a bear trying to find parts. I hear some 56 Chevy parts will work (i.e. Glass, hardtop window flappers, window regulators). Does anyone know if there is any truth to this?

The most important part I am looking for is a steering column. I can't find a pontiac, but there's a thousand Chevy catalogs. Thanks for the info!
