wiring
hey everyone. i was looking to ask if anyone had any diagrams or anything i could follow to wire up the interior of a 66 ford truck. i would like to put speakers and a cd player in it along with some gauges.. and well frankly i dont know much about wiring.. i can learn though... so if anyone had any tips or help or anything let me know

The first thing you should do is pick up a basic automobile/hotrod wiring book. Check your local auto parts store, library or check (sorry, blatant site plug) http://www.clparts.com/hrmazon.html.

I would run a new wire from Battery Positive on the starter solenoid for your c/d player. The old Ford wiring was not designed to carry any amperage for the radio circuit.

why not get a stereo for the truck, they sell them with AM/FM/tape, and an aux for a cd changer or what not.You don't know what you've got til it's gone
