Hi All,
I'm headed to the GoodGuys car show in Puyallup this coming weekend and I've been getting lots of pressure from my other half to clean out the garage.
On the chopping block are some ol' vintage tin from my "T". How much do you think I should be asking for a set of front/rear fenders that are in pretty good shape?
One fender didnt make it in the pics but I do have it.

It's always tough to say on this kind of thing because it varies from region to region, time of year, and who's looking and what they're willing to pay. A quick review of ebay (actual selling prices vs nearly meaningless asking prices is it's advantage) shows anything from no sale at $10 to sales upwards of $75 each. The '26-7 seem to go for more, upwards of $200, your's look to be early '20's. The problem with ebay as a guide is that the cost of shipping keeps bidders from getting as in to it as might otherwise. Also, for you as a seller packing them to prevent shipping damage is a major pita.
First, this is probably the worst time of the year to sell parts as interest is lower so prices are lower, see if you can buy some time til fall. A couple good resources, and sales ad listing is free, are www.fordbarn.com (target audience) and www.craigslist.com (could be the best option for a local sale). You can start out asking as high a price as you feel comfortable given the above info and see what happens. No response means you're too high. Weak response with offers might mean you're close, although keep that time of the year concept in mind. Otherwise, if you've got enough other stuff to make it worthwhile, the Harvest Swap in Centalia is Sept 23-4, and the fall Monroe meet is Oct 7-8.

I think what I'll do is take one fender over there, can't cram them all in the "T" but I'll bring the others in the Toad behind the motorhome, we are staying there til Sunday. Make up a sign and have a few pics of the rest of them plus the other parts and see if I get any bites.
I might be able to hold on a bit longer:) Ruthann is looking over my shoulder as I type:) so I could look into the Harvest Swap in Centalia. Just don't have that much other than whats in the above pics. Craigslist might be a good place, forgot all about that one:HMMM:

The last couple years we've gotten there about 6:00 and there was no line, just drove right in the back gate. I heard the Puyallup cops jumped on the organizers about the line backing up onto Meridian so forced them to open up more than one gate.............gee, traffic moved much better..........doh!!!! Most of the folks in line are vying for the power parker spots up front, though more folks have caught on to the value of shade later in the day. If you get there before us how about saving two spots? Well, unless it's raining......................my cheater slicks don't like wet pavement for some silly reason!:whacked:
Thanks for the info. I talked to Brent, he's staying with us in the motorhome Fri. night and he said 5:am was to damn early for him but we'll see:LOL:

Yep, cell's the same.
If the pavement is dry (or staying dry) I'll bring the Fairlane (still working on it today but expect it to be done by tonight), might take the cheater slicks off too and drive it regardless of forecast.
