Seats for a 30s era pickup
I'm hotrodding a '38 Ford Pickup and need to put seats in it from an existing car. Any suggestions what type of car/truck is popular to use as a doner? Thanks, Dave

I used a bench seat out of a Dodge Caravan. I perfer bench seat over Bucket seats. Just about any seat available can be made to fit your 38.Keep smiling, it only hurts when you think it does!

Hedtrpr,
You might want to look at an 88-94 Ford Ranger. Some have the 60/40 split bench seat, some have a straight bench seat. The older ones have no headrest. All are about 51 inches at the widest point.52 Ford F-1, 327 Chevy, S-10 frame

Dsc00323.jpg I used seats from a Chevy Astro Van. They have the risers on them and also have arm rest. I put them in my 39 International and made a console for the Mege shifter. Keith in Missouri

I've used Ford Escort seats in a 35 Ford Trk. They are narrow & fit well.

So we're still out here fighting with sniper issues, might be sending it back to summit soon. But at least it looks good?
