    6Have you actually lost high speed or does it not seem to go faster when you put it on max? If this is the case, you have a vacumm problem. very common on 77-84. The vac switch behind the heater control on the dash is bad.

    found the problem

     



    just a follow up note to let you know i found the problem

    the wire that feeds the high speed side of the fan was burned and not making contact...thanks for all of your help...
