Actualy there is an easy way to change the frame and narrow it
Pay someone.Other than that your in for a lot of work that has to be right

Do your measurements. First, measure the wheelbase and track, frame width (inside and out, front and rear), Frame height from the ground, kick up, front and rear of the 48 Chev. Then do the same with the measurements of the S-10 from my site info or go to the junk yard and make your own. Then find out the cost of the S-10 rolling chassis. Second, get on the websites and figure what you'll need to do a front end graft, and or a IFS graft. Then figure out the cost of doing a graft. Thirdly, measure the thickness and density of your wallet and your income as opposed to your monthly bills. Finally, sit down and contemplate the taste, temperature, and density of a cup of coffee, and think this thing through carefully. No matter what you do it's going to involve work, and cash. How much is up to you. I didn't do this. I followed the advice of guys on a Ford Forum. A year and a half and $1700 later I was right where I started. A yard full of parts that had to be modified because nothing fit. The two best tools you have is your brain and your measuring tape. Use them wisely.
