Clock won't turn off!!!!

I know this is not a hotrod question but I didn't know who else to ask. I have a 95 GMC Safari van. Recently the battery went dead (husband left the door open all night) and since, the clock on the radio won't turn off. We have an alarm on it and electric start. It will stay on for 2 days and then it kills the battery again. Yesterday after driving it all day we parked it and about an hour later it started making a clicking noise where all of the wires on inside the van on the drivers side. There is a switch that won't allow when on it won't allow anyone to take it. When i flipped it the clicking noise went faster. When the door was open it got louder. It sound like the flashers on but louder. The battery was completely dead though. We took it to the people who installed the alarm and they said it didn't have anything to do with that. Any ideas? I'm getting tired of having to jump start it every other day.

pull the wire off the clock if it is what is draining you battery

I can do that but I'm trying to figure out why its doing it. And what the clicking noise is all about

If you unplug the clock and the clicking noise goes away, and your battery quits draining, then it's the clock.
