OK, here is the problem. I bought a 38 Chevy Sedan. It had some problems. Brakes for one. To make a long story short. The pedal was hitting the bell housing and not letting the pedal go all the way down.Well, that was only part of the problem. I figured the system was old and needed replaced.I replaced the master cylinder,booster,all the lines, calipers, pads and hoses, combination valve. The rear shoes are new it had a 2lb and 10 lb residual valves. The system is under the car and no lines are above the master cylinder. The only thing not replaced are the rear wheel cylinders. But they seem to be working. The vacuum is OK(18lbs) to the booster at idle . I checked the combination valve it's working. When pushing the pedal it goes almost to the floor and just stops the car at low speed. The brake lines have no air in the system and no leaks.I even went to putting on another booster and master cylinder. Someone said pedal ratio. The pedal can't move up it's against the floor under the car now. I've had a call an email into Master Power brakes for two days and called them. No call backs yet. Any ideas?Thanks!!
