Like I said---the guy was a goldchainer. When I asked him why he wanted to monitor oil temperature, his response was "well aren't you supposed to?". He had spent a fortune on custom gauges to put in his Corvette. Somebody had done a real sell job on him, and included an oil temp gauge in a set!!! Now he hasn't the faintest idea where to hook it up to. I suggested that he have a bung welded to the oilpan, but he was kinda horrified at the thought of removing the pan to do that. He wanted a bolt on solution.
