Hello, first time here. Came looking for help. My customer has a 50 Ford 2dr, someone removed all the side trim long ago & filled the holes. The customer has bought all the trim & clips from Dennis Carpenter. Trouble is, none of us can figure out how the clips are supposed to attach to the car. One bodyman says we need square holes. Another says we need a special tool to install them (we have an ancient GM tool but it won't work on these) Called D.Carpenter & they have no idea. So, fellas, whats the answer?
