ok my camaro is a carb'd 2.8liter and im putting a 350 in it and im sure the stock fuel pump wont flow enough for the 350. i was looking at a in the line pump for now. do i need to drop the tank or can i just unplug the stock pump?

where is the pump now? i thought the 84, 2.8 pump was on the motor.Quote:

its on the motor, far as I know they never put a pump in the tank on a carb. motor, only need 6 lbs. of pressure. most tanks pumps are 10 lbs. up. if you have a tank pump use it, but you'll need to cut the pressure down.
