Air Ride Suspension?
This has been talked about a lot in the past but there is new air bag systems out now since last time plus my question is JUST about my 48 Chevy. I got me a new job working at a hot rod shop so I am getting more money comming in and putting it away to start this Chevy FINALLY!!! I am going to start on it next weekend by sanding and fixing the small little parts and putting them in boxes, etc but need to figure out a wheel and suspension combo. I am going to have a certain year look to it like a 60's kind of build maybe but with the modern drive train and chassis. Anyways, what kind of air ride would you guys suggest? I am looking at Air Ride Tech's tank kit with the electronic touch pad box and all with the hoses, etc but what about for the bags themselves.... I want to eliminate the leaf springs and put on the 4 link set up too. I am trying to stay under the 2600 dollar mark IF POSSIBLE. I will be putting in a plain 350 or 383 stroker motor. Nothing major like a big block like I used to want to do.
Thanks a lot for any help here guys!!!
