Not sure why my post is gone here now but here it is again.... I think you need both to do a tank. Well that is for a motorcycle tanks. If just a plain square car tank then all that would be needed are hand tools, a metal brake and some sheers. Maybe a few other small things. But if your making rounded out motorcycle tanks then you will need BOTH E wheel and Planishing hammer. Either that or you can get an E wheel and spend hours on a bag with a hammer.
