Should I use teflon tape on a new EFI fuel pump fittings?

If they are NPT (pipe thread), yes; if they are tube, no. OOMV.

Brass fittings don't need any help sealing, other metals I prefer the brush-on stuff. The tape seems to shrink and loosen the fittings in time.

there is a type of teflon tape out there kinda green in color & a little thicker than the white stuff,it is rated safe for direct contact with fuel and oils,unlike the white stuff that is used for mostly air
& natural/propane gas fittings. if unavailable use the brush on pipe dope.
i believe i bought mine at NAPA!?
