Frame for Model A body?
Just wondering if there are any later model frames that a Model A body would fit on? Thinking about an older mini-pickup frame such as a Datsun, Isuzu, Chevy LUV, or S-10. I read somewhere about a Dotrod plan that was available in the late 70's or early 80's. My idea is to use a Model A cowl and then build a wooden bodied phaeton. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Mike miller.

My answer would be probably not. The newer vehicles' frames, are wider than the Model A frames.
If you would like to make some comparisons, here is a URL for a Model A frame diagram, take some measurements on some of the mini trucks that you are thinking about.

My 31 is on a streched 32 frame built by Street Rod Garage. They can build you a frame to your specs at a very reasonable price.

Thanks guys! It's been a long road. Fun doing finishing work for sure. Getting the dash ready for paint and some interior trim. Have to do some finish work on the aluminum headliner before...
