Hello All - Am trying to find a compatable hanging Brake pedal setup to fit in a 1946 Ford. I have one out of a Nova that is very close but I have to move it about 4-5 inches to the left to miss the ridge that is stamped into the firewall - (can't mount the brake booster/master cylinder over the ridge. Or can I?)and if I move it to the far left to clear the ridge I will have to weld a 3-4"extension to offset the pedal back to the proper side of the steeri ng column - am afraid this might compromise the strength of the pedal - hope this isn't too confusing - many thanks in advance
