I want to make my own exhaust using aluminized pieces. I am going to use a MIG welder to assemble the system. What I want to know is, what kind of coating could I put on the pipe to make it look decent and keep rust away (for good). Stainless steel is out of my budget, and I can't weld it. I don't care if it is a mirror shine, I'm just thinking of some silver paint to make it look clean.

Suggestions?
