    Question gas tank construction

     



    I'm getting a gas tank fabricated for use with an electric fuel pump. Is it wise instead of having a pickup tube that exits the top of the tank to have the fuel line feed from near the bottom of the tank so there is some gravity pressure to the incoming side of the fuel pump?

    yes that is the way i do them. gravity helps keep the feed on the pump

    I build lots of fuel tanks and have the outlet in the bottom.
