okay guys, im trying to figure out how to get the LS1 engine into my 65 chevelle. fun part is that i also want to get the six speed tranny to go with it. ive searched this forum for just a short bit and the rest of the internet will no real help. now i am asking if you know any sites, numbers to call, emails to send info to. let me know.

I too have a 65 Malibu. I have no idea how to help you, but I'd like to do the some for my car. For now I am trying to locate a hood. I have a friend who works at a junk yard, and I asked him if he could locate a LS1 for me. I have no idea what's involve in slaping this motor into my car. I think that my turbo 350 is good enough for me....I guess. Next time I see my friend I'll ask about ypu conversion. If you don't mind I'd like to respectfully ask you for advice now and then...I'm a newbee.

great post streets. what motor are we talking about: wiper motor, blower motor??? im asking about an engine, small difference. make a dumb ass comment get an even smarter answer.
