Well, last week-end I took the hood off the Studebaker, this weekend got a lot further along. I just need to take a couple measurments and check my current pinion angle to motor relationship and I will pull the 350 outta there. You can keep track of my progress here:

Looks awesome Pat! I went to goodguys show this weekend and there were a few studes in black like yours. This one was AMAZING and I stood there for like 15 minutes looking at it. haha
Oh and Pat, I didn't know you were that short with blonde hair and look like a girl! Hehe.

You going to remote the coil packs so the valve covers will be visible? It would be way cool to do the Studebaker look again, blow some minds!

Bob, Initially at least, I will leave the coil packs on the valve covers and will modify some fuel rails covers with the Studebaker logo. I was thinking of putting Studebaker R-5 on them ;) After that, who knows.

Pat, sorry but I don't! I wish I would have brought the camera. I do it EVERYTIME. I didn't even think about it until I got there. I don't even remember what motor this black one that I liked had. I think it was a big block. Didn't have a blower or nothing, it was just plain and really clean. Everything was smoothed out really nicely, lots of chrome under the hood and polished. Inside was emaculant! Normally I only like Studebaker trucks because the cars look a little funny but then again there are two cars that Stude makes and I like them. Same one as yours. I think this one was a removable hardtop if I remember correctly.
