I'm putting in my brakes on my 38 Chevy Sedan. I need to know if it is legal to put the brake pedal to the left of the steering column? Some one told me it is illegal to put it there. That it has to be on the right side of the steering column. I don't have enough room on the right of the column. Do to the steering column position. I was going to put a universal drop pedal on the left. Thanks for your help!
