'25 T with Mustang power steering leaking
I've recently purchase a 25T with 289 Mustang engine and tranny, Corvette rearend and 4 wheel disc brakes. I received some information from the seller but 1/2 of it was incorrect. It is currently up on blocks getting a new wiring harness and I want to take care of some of the leaks, probably from not being driven (no plates for the last 5 years). The car was converted, I assume, in the late 60s as it has mostly late 60s parts. The power steering is leaking everywhere but I do not know how to identify what it is and what year it is to obtain replacement parts and kits. I assume it is Ford. Where do I look for part numbers and how do I determine year model? I would prefer to obtain the replacement parts before removing the existing parts to keep my down time to a minimum. Thanks for any information.NPRfan

You realy need to take a trip to your local auto wreckers,,and compare your components,,,,either that or get a hold of your local mustang enthusiast and ask lots of questions."I don't know everything and i like it that way"

Thank you for the ideas. There are lots of car shows around here so I'll take pics of my set up and then go to the car show and compare equpment. It's raining here and as soon as it's dry enough, I'll get under and look for some part numbers. Thanks again.NPRfan

I saw last night on fb about John. The world sure lost a great one. I'm going to miss his humor, advice, and perspective from another portion of the world. Rest in Peace Johnboy.
