Adding power steering??

I have a power steering 'system' from a 65 Chevy II to install on my 63 Chevy II. It came with the entire setup... steering arms (all attached still) steering cylinder attached, a power steering pump, hydrolic lines and a seperate steering gearbox with the shaft all together.
My question is:
Does anyone have or know of a place where i can find or see how this is all supposed to be connected and attached? I know how the manual steering is all connected (cuz i took it apart) but since i've never seen a nova with PS i'm unfamiliar with the how the power steering lines, cylinder, pump etc... all fit together. I'd also like to know how to get the steering gearbox and shaft out of the car and reinstalled? has anyone done this? even on a similar car?
pictures and/or diagrams or step by step instructions are welcome!

I think i can probably figure it out if i just lay on my back long enough and stare up at the bottom of my car, but I'd like to know before I start if anyone has any secrets or tricks of the trade that will save me some time and knuckles!

Have you ever seen an Assembly Manual?
Like the one here? I know there are a lot of other places to purchase them.

I've picked up one for my '69 Camaro and my '69 GTO, and I've found them to be a great resource.

I've never used that company that I linked to. It was the first hit in a google search. It looks like they carry some good stuff.

I got the manuals this weekend.
They seem to be pretty well done and have some good illustrations, but it's not super specific with the steering system, but it's still pretty decent.

I'd still like to see a real-life power steering setup on a 1st gen nova just to see how the hyrdaulic lines are run. I have a feeling I am missing some 'tie down' brackets for the PS lines... then again, maybe not. The illustrations in the manual don't give a clear picture on how they are all supposed to be run.

Are you worried about the integrity of the system without the additional tie-downs or are you trying to duplicate the original?

A parts manual for the car should show an exploded view of the complete setup.....and all the misc brackets and clamps. The book was a separate Chevy II-specific book and was paper. I threw mine away years ago.....someone should still have older GM parts books. There was a parts book along with a separate illustration book OR sometimes the two were combined.

Regarding the support, you can tie the hoses together with tie wraps or secure them to a hard location....I have some 36" long hoses that are secured only at the center to a frame member and there is no problem....when the thing is running, you cant bend the hoses.

I'm mainly worried about the integrity of the lines. Originality was shot when they put the v-8 in the car to begin with. I just wanted to make sure the lines were run somewhere out of the way. I was just hoping to see where they were run originally so that I could copy that path to ensure nothing would get in the way. I guess I'll figure it out when I get it all installed. It may be self explanitory.
