As for stuck on oil filters, I 've had that happen to ones I've hand tightened. I've noticed especially if the interval between one change to next is longer to accumulate enough miles a filter can get sticky. If you drive 1500 miles a month no problem but if it takes you 6 months to go 3000 it can get stuck.
