this is what i had to do to get this filter off the oil filter block to change the oil on a friends 4x4 s10 Blazer. Hand tightened, yeaaaaaa sure it was. i tried to use the correct tool & ended up hammering a screw driver through it 3-4times. i'd love to see the ape that tightened this thing &&& they wonder why they have such a huge fan following ...joe
