first chop
Well after 61 years, I decided it was about time to do my first (gasp) chop of a car. A good feind of mine who restores cars for a living talked me through the process and even then I made a mistake but it can be corrected. I wanted(wasn't my car) actually a piece of junk, but thats what you need on your first job; I wanted the windshield to lay back on the 50 chevy and it came out right but I didn't measure right and came up with a 1/4 inch difference on one side. Thats why I used a piece of crap. Billy let me do my own cutting and he saw what I was doing wrong, but didn't say anything because I was sure I had measured right. Right?, wrong. Will have to add to one side or take the other down without compromising the back cuts. Alot of fun and I can say I finally did it. Now gotta figure how to cut the glass:D:D
