hi folks

i have an 89 formula, with the usual lose steering colum. I replaced it with a used colum from a camaro. everything matched up perfectly. except now it wont start. i have power and all that gauges are fine, radio works, just wont start. could the chip in the key have anything to do with it. i bypassed it and spliced the wires trying anything. any ideas would be gratefully accepted.
