I have a 67 chevy pu truck that was t boned at a stop sgin. I need to straten the frame where it was bent. It it unwise to use heat for this. should I try to do this another way? Thanks John

Bring it to a body shop that has a frame straightner, it'll be safer in the long run, or buy a new frame, might be cheaper to find a frame for it, there out there.
Heat is sometimes used in the repairs of frames. But the use of this is rare, and using too much heat can severely weaken the frame. Frame repairs are best left to those who specialize unless you happen to have a frame bench in your garage.
