    If you search the internet under "hinge pin removal tools, or if you are friends with a machine shop, you can buy or make a tool like the one I have modelled here. They are very good for removing frozen hinge pins without messing up the paint.---just slide it over the hinge, tighten down the threaded screw onto the head of the hinge pin, then give end of the threaded screw a good whack with your hammer, to start the pin moving, then tighten the screw to shove the pin out of the hinge and out through the hole in the bottom of the tool.
