i'm looking at a 70 cougar power disc setup for a 70 mustang. they say it is a pretty easy drop in replacement and won't take a boat load of skill. mustang currently has manual drum brakes. is it as easy as i'm being told? would i be better off going with an aftermarket kit for more money and maybe not tooled correctly?
Thanks Denny, I have tools and half of a mechanical brain. What kind of changes are we talking? Stictly bolt on stuff or welding and fabrication? Bolt on I can handle, welding and fab maybe not..
Cougar and Mustang spindles interchange. Be sure to get the lines and fittings off the Cougar, even if you buy new hoses, and you should, they will show you what you need.
