I am thinking of coating my frame with something different. I'm not
sure if I want to powder coat it or not. Its a 34 ford 5 window.
Do any of you fellers have an idea or 2.
Thanks

I've been thinkin' about having the entire underside and frame shot with Inyati on my next project. Rustproof, bulletproof and it's a sound-deadening material.
'course I don't build stuff to show, only to drive.
Just a thought for ya, John Deere Blitz Black was formulated to be a frame component coating. Flat finish (but not too flat) super durable, easy to clean.
Have also heard of folks using POR15 & sometimes truck bedliner materials (like RhinoLiner or the like) for extreme protection & durability.
Powder coating is nice, but if it's on a driver and you do get chips, it can only be touched up with paint. It is a very tough finish, but it will get chipped if driven.
I just talked with my paint supplier. And he has a bed liner kit
with 2 quarts of white liner. That you ad automotive color too. Says it will do a small pickup bed.
It is 70.00 for the liner, Then the paint would vary. And 20.00 for the disposable gun.
Not bad.
