    ls1 temp.

     



    this past weekend i made a 500 mi. trip in my street rod i have an ls1 engine , i ran a c all the way my temp. ran between 190 and 220 is this normal thanks hayless

    i guess it went to 220 when you stopped? with a 190 thermo. 190 on the road and 220 when you stopped would be about right. dont want it to get much higher than 220. what kind of fan?

    that's a little hot going down the road. did it get hotter when you stopped? if the temp. will stabilize there its ok.

    no, it did not get hotter when i stopped , it also was very hot about 95o. so do you think i will be ok. thanls hayless

    the painless wiring harness i use have a fan relay wire on them that comes on at 200 and 224 degrees so i think 190 to 220 is ok . if it dont boil over it is fine
    yes i drove ,the trailer didnot drive it's self
