Hey Denny---How do I hook up this alternator?

This is the alternator just as it came from the 1985 Pontiac donor car (except for yellow paint). It appears to have only one wire that doesn't hook up to something. I haven't changed anything on it, just cut that one wire when I pulled the engine. Can you tell by looking at the picture if it is internally regulated, externally regulated, not regulated at all or what? This part of a build always baffles me somewhat, because Delco alternators had so many configurations. If you could sketch me up a simple wiring diagram that shows how to wire this alternator into my system I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks a lot, Brian

Denny---Thank you very much. I am sure that the diagrams will be an immense help. Its been so long since I pulled that motor that I couldn't remember what the wiring looked like.---Brian
