I wouldnt Knock any of the schools if you havent been to them.
I have had WyoTech Human Recources emailing me for 2 years to come teach there, but I wont even consider it because of the location. ( hate the cold )

I had a very good helper come out of WyoTech, yes he was green behind the ears, but at least he had all the right concepts of it all, and knew how things were done.
After working with me for 2 years he is now head painter at a good shop and making good money !!
All he needed was tought how to use his time wisely , and learn how to multitask 3-6 jobs at a time , And work on his speed.

Look at all the schools and see what they have to offer, and dont let them buffalo you into thinking you will make BIG BUCKS when you graduate. that comes in time when you know the ropes.

There is also talk of hitting the shops where you live and see if you can learn from hands on experience, thats all fine , but in a shop that is production its all about money and most guys dont have the time to teach you. Learn the basics and it will be easier to get into a shop.
I love to teach but when I am at work I am there to make the shop and me money.
