Need a good restorer in S CA
Hello,
I am new to the Big Block world. I had a 67 Camaro in high school that I loved working on, but that was a long time ago.
About a year ago I bought a 69 Mach 1 R-code. It was running, but overeating a lot. Through a fiend I met a guy who restores Mustangs, and offered to help me do it in his off time. So I stared tearing the car apart, and am ready to pull the engine and get started, but the guy has been a flake.
Can anyone out there point me to someone who knows mustangs in the San Fernando Valley who woul be willing to teach and restore at the same time? I want to learn about engine building while I restore this car, which is why I don't want to just hire a restoration shop to do it all. Obviously I would pay for he help.
I am also looking for a good 428 block, date coded from 68 if anyone has a lead on that.
Thanks,
Steve

I bought the 76 in August , but haven't been able to work on it. When I get a chance I'll post some pictures.
