    Nice interior door handles

I went over to the wreckers this evening and went on an interior door handle hunt for the roadster pickup. The handles that are available thru my hotrod aftermarket shop are priced at $198 to $249, plus 15 percent taxes. I paid $40 total for this pair, and that was with the guy at the yard removing them from the car for me. They are out of one of the old square shaped Mazda cars. Honda has nice small interior handles as well, but there were none in the black colour that I wanted. I will have to cut a hole in the metal door to the correct shape, and weld in a small offset strap to hold the single screw which attaches these handles to the door. The inner handle part which actually swings to pull the latch rod is totally supported by the "basket", which is supported by the single screw.---I will post a picture when they are installed.
