REv counter problem
Hi all,
AS some of you know I have a 79 Camaro,
My question is, The rev counter isnt working, anyone ideas on a fix or the cos?

Niallbirl we dont know what a rev counter is or i dont. if its a tackometer, then check and see if its hooked up to the coil, and if it its it probably the teck. thats bad. not much you can do to that but replace it.

Sorry about that,
Forgot, you americans call a Rev counter a Teckometre :-)
The thing is. it was working, could it be a lose wiring or am I living in hope :-)

if you have not taken any wires off for any reason and it was working then it sounds like the teck. is bad. you can pull on the wires some times and find a loose one, other wise i think you are living without hope.Originally posted by Niallbirl
