I'm having problems with people slamming my doors. They used to need to be slammed but I bought new pins, bushings, and strikers and got it all adjusted so the door could pretty much close under its own weight. But I had everybody trained and they just kept slamming. Now, the plastic bushings on my few month old strikers are about ready to fall off because they can't take the abuse. I'm going to have to machine new bushings out of bronze or soft aluminum and set the striker bolts a little further back so the weather strip takes most of the hit.
