If you are putting a big block in it then you should box the thing. You can C notch the frame as well when you box it in for suspension clearance and when you do the 4 link. You don't have to but it's just a suggestion. A frame that old will have tons of stress on it with a big block.www.streamlineautocare.com
If you wan't something done right, then you have to do it yourself!
